As restrictions ease and things start to go back to normal – hang on – wait a minute – what was normal again?
How do we return to work and our normal day-to-day routine safely?
Returning to pre-COVID life is good news for smaller businesses that have been hit the hardest by COVID-19. Businesses re-opening is also good for employees that were previously stood down.
So, if you are fortunate enough to be returning to the workplace, here are some tips and guidelines to help you transition back safely.
Tip 1
Safety should be your workplace’s number one priority for staff and customers. At a minimum your plan should include things like, maintaining good hygiene and additional cleaning, social distancing rules and monitoring closely staff health and wellbeing.
Tip 2
Slowly transitioning back to work is key to keeping everyone safe. Staggering people’s return to work using a roster system or being flexible with start and finishing times is ideal.
Tip 3
Respect people’s personal space – Respect the social distancing rules and keep your distance. Don’t forget to wear a mask.
Tip 4
Stay home if you are sick. Good hygiene, social distancing and staying at home when you are sick has reduced the spread of CV-19, not to mention the common cold.

You might be thinking I haven’t got a resume. You might be thinking I wouldn’t even know what to write in a resume. You might be thinking where do I start and what do I google.
